MAT PILATES
 

I chose to practise and teach Mat Pilates to share how it has helped me feel stronger, to have a sense of agency in how my body moves and feels and to also share the connection that being in a class gives.

One-to-One Mat sessions are a wonderful way to get to know my clients better, hone their techniques and celebrate with them as they feel the deep difference in everyday life. By the way the spaniel is not normally part of the sessions!

I get huge job satisfaction from seeing my class Pilatees build their skills, but more than that, just have a giggle and relax in each others' company. 

 
And just to say that at the moment I do not teach Reformer Pilates. It is a great way to practise but I love the accessibility of a mat or even just a carpet or sometimes even your bed to give your body what it needs.
